Right after a grueling chapter of 2020, a global pandemic and several wildfires, Ashlee + Joe were beyond ready for a few moments of laughter + celebrating their recent engagement. I met them at Ester Lee Motel (seriously so heckin cute) and we adventured down to Gleneden Beach for location number one. The rocks, the ocean, the messy sand, and the INCREDIBLE sunshine (rare for Oregon) was such a perfect combo.

Then, we went back to their motel, did an outfit change, and strolled down to the exact spot where Joe proposed to Ashlee. Then we ran around the beach, chasing the sunset and the giggles until it was too dark for the camera to focus. After walking back to find out someone stole their pendleton blanket (thanks 2020), we went and ate our feelings in the besssttt German food (Autobahn 101) + talked all wedding things.

I can’t wait to witness these two cuties get married in Northern Oregon in 2021. Until then, enjoy their perfect engagement session along the sunniest day ever on the Oregon coast.
