Southern California Spring Wedding

Every wedding of course holds a special place in my heart, but this one really takes the cake — pun intended because the bride is a kickass baker.

Back in 2018, I met Rebecca at a calligraphy class and we’ve been best friends ever since. When she asked me to photograph her wedding down in California, I about fainted in excitement. I love her and Todd so much, so I would be there no matter what. Who knew we’d be navigating a pandemic and my pregnancy during this planning? But no matter what obstacle came their way — and ooof, there was a lot — they both took everything with such grace to make their California elopement happen. After everything was said and done, they just wanted to finally get married to start a new chapter together.

The team that came together to make this California dream happen was 10/10 AMAZING — peep that the bride made her heckin’ wedding cake. I could eat it every day! They were also married by the father of the bride and if that doesn’t make you cry, I don’t know what will. Please check them all out when you’re searching for a vendor for your big day.
